WCAG-EM 2.0 adopted, manual checklist reorganized
We have adopted WCAG-EM 2.0, the latest W3C accessibility conformance evaluation methodology published on July 23, 2026, and reorganized the manual checklist around WCAG success criteria.
[Methodology] Report structure and the evaluation statement now follow WCAG-EM 2.0. The statement lists the publication date, guidelines applied (WCAG 2.2), the evaluated product, technologies relied upon, and the accessibility support baseline. Report exports now include both a WCAG-EM 2.0 JSON and a W3C Report Tool-compatible (1.0) JSON.
[Manual checklist] Items requiring human verification are now listed by WCAG 2.2 success criteria (A/AA). Each item shows its conformance level and the corresponding KWCAG item, with the same testing guidance as before. The KWCAG 33-item matrix and per-item page compliance rates remain unchanged for Korean certification work.
[Evaluator verdicts] Verdicts entered on KWCAG items or in the Chrome extension were previously not counted toward the combined compliance score. This is fixed. Your existing verdicts are preserved and now feed the score through their corresponding success criteria.
[Chrome extension] Version 0.4.0, which applies the same WCAG-based checklist, has been submitted to the Chrome Web Store. It will update automatically once approved, and your saved verdicts and notes are preserved.
Audit criteria remain WCAG 2.2 and KWCAG 2.2. Automated results and the scoring method are unchanged.
